Homemade Granola

Do you love smoothie bowls like me? What better way to garnish your smoothie bowls than with granola. Granola bought in stores can sometimes contain a lot of refined sugar. So i've decided to share my granola recipe that doesn't have any refined sugar in it. 

Ingredients :

-2 cups oats (not the fast stuff)

-1/2 cup puffed quinoa

-1/2 cup shredded coconut

-2 TBS chia seeds

-1 TBS pumpkin seeds

-3 TBS maple syrup

-2 TBS coconut oil

-1 tsp vanilla extract

-Cocoa nibs to taste


Directions:

-Preheat oven at 350 degrees
-In a bowl, mix the oats, the puffed quinoa, the chia seeds and the pumpkin seeds.
-Melt the coconut oil in the microwave, add the maple syrup and vanilla
-Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix.
-Put on plate with parchment paper and put in the oven for 20 minutes.
-After 15 minutes, remove from oven, mix and add 1/2 cup of grated coconut.
-Get out of the oven. Let cool and add the chocolate chips.
